We have multiple graduation projects available within the context of the MedGPT project, a large European project focusing on the safe and ethical use of LLMs and foundation models in healthcare.
For students interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how neural networks work, we have a project where the aim is to translate theoretical insights in learning dynamics (what and how neural networks learn, i.e., how their parameters change over time depending on the dataset) into new insights on how we can guarantee that no sensitive patient data is stored in a network’s parameters. This project will involve experiments with large models, but they will require some strong analytical/mathematical skills as well.
For students with a strong interest in very hands-on experience with LLMs and foundation models for healthcare, we have an opportunity for a graduation project in collaboration with Philips and/or hospitals. These projects will be shaped together with these external partners/supervisors.
