The seminar aims to help MSc students in preparation for their MSc thesis projects. The seminar help in understanding the current state of the art in selected subareas of data mining, machine learning and AI. 

Following seminars on literature review, research problem motivation, selection and formulation, and research methods each student choses to investigate a concrete topic that relates to one of the internal or external graduation projects the prospective supervisors of the DM group / DAI cluster plan to offer.
