In this course we will study the field of Natural Language Processing and Text Mining. We will focus on important developments made in the field with a heavy focus on feature engineering and applications. The course is designed to give students a basis that will allow them to explore the field further independently.

In AY 2022-23 the course was given by Zeno van Cauter and Antske Fokkens and covered Language Models & Transformers, Large Language Models,Knowledge extraction, Model verification in NLP and Ethics in NLP.
